About
I am a tax professional in North Carolina, employed by a major national tax chain (please don’t hold that against me). I’ve been doing taxes for nearly 20 years with Small Business, Retirement, and Investment certifications and have just started on the curriculum for becoming an Enrolled Agent. What you see here are things that I’ve learned over the years, plus comments on important developments related to US and (occasionally) state taxes.
This blog isn’t a forum for advice or for blanket, “one-size-fits-all” solutions to tax problems; please see your own tax provider for that. Any opinions expressed here are my own, and do not represent the views of my employer or (for that matter) anyone else other than me.
If you are curious about the blog title: It comes from an old Jewish proverb, “Taxes grow without rain”.
